A Camping We Will Go...

This year we decided to give up tent camping and move up to 'camper' camping. Well, at least pop-up camping. Yep, we bought a used pop-up camper in anticipation of a big trip out east in '08. It is a 12 foot 2001 Jayco Eagle with a dinette slide out. We were able to take it out a few times this summer and fall to get used to it. No doubt about it, it is nicer than tent camping (not quite as nice as mom & dad's RV though!). When we took it out, we did come across a couple things: it always rains at some point when we pop-up camp and we got our camper 'fix' out of the way already. While it has now been put away for the winter, we are looking forward to getting it out in the spring for our first camping expedition.

By the way, Patti wants it pointed out that is NOT her in the doorway; it is the person we bought the camper from!
