Ryan's Travel Soccer Team

Ryan's U11 Red Arrow travel soccer team had a very successful spring. The team came together and played better soccer in the spring and it showed on the field. The team finished the season with a 5-0-3 record and scored 18 goals more than it gave up. In May, the team traveled to the Jaguar Invitational in Novi Michigan where it played its best soccer of the year. The team went 3-0 in its first three games but lost 3-2 in the semifinals. In the second game, Ryan scored his first goal of the year, then his second and then his third!!!! We were so excited we could hardly contain ourselves on the sidelines. It was very enjoyable to see how excited Ryan was as well as the excitement on his teammates faces. To end the year, the team played in the Portage Soccer Classic. The team performed well but ended up 1-2. In the second game, Ryan scored two more goals and nearly scored another! It was a growing and challenging year for Ryan. We are looking forward to the new challenges this coming year as Ryan made the U12 Red Arrow soccer team.
