Our Vacation

We were fortunate to make another trip to Disney the first week of December. A bonus was missing the first big snowstorm of the winter. Although the temperature varied from a high of 85 the first day to 55 on the last, it was still enjoyable to be able to walk around outside and see the shows and ride the rides. We stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge (it came highly recommended) and found it enjoyable and the kids liked looking out into the savanna and seeing the animals. Although the kids were 2 years older than our last trip, they were real troopers for mommy in getting their picture taken with the characters and even got a couple new autographs. It was tough on Daddy to miss his and the boys soccer games though. He even suggested swinging by Soccerzone on the way home to catch one of the boy's teams play. Suggestion denied. Unfortuantly, we came to the realization that this may be the last trip to Disney. The kids seem to be more interested in the thrill rides (Cedar Point) and there was definitely less "Disney magic" although there were some nice moments.
